Round Cat Farm

Trent and Carla are the owners of Round Cat Farm and are beginning their first season on Union Farmstead in 2026! Born and raised in Texas, both Trent and Carla had parents that loved the outdoors. Trent’s mom being an avid gardener and Carla’s dad owning a small family cattle farm. After construction and golf course maintenance, Trent found an agriculture degree at Austin Community College, graduated and has farmed since, be it with animals or vegetables. Carla earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Texas - San Antonio and has worked in social services for her career. The pivot away from social services into agriculture was the plan and she is excited to join Trent on the farm.

Since 2023, they moved to Pennsylvania and have each worked on local farms, Trent having apprenticed with Pennypack Farm and Education Center and Carla interning with Hundred Fruit Farm. Their goal is to sell produce to local markets, restaurants, and eventually form a CSA.
